A new light has been fitted after 3 months being in pitch black only for this light to be switched off at midnight. This is the ONLY light in our street, so we are back with a similar problem. The old light stayed on all night after requesting so many years ago with it being the only source of light.

After 3 months of being with no street light which was dangerous it has been replaced but it switches off at midnight. The old light stayed on all night after requesting so many years ago. This is the only source of light we have in Hollybush Walk.

Updates

  • Finally had the 2 streetlamps on Hollybush Walk fixed after around 3 months of them not working. However unlike the lights they replaced they switch off at midnight. Hollybush Walk is not a street or road and has no vehicle traffic. It is a walkway with a row of houses either side and is pitch black without any lighting. Houses on Hollybush Walk were subject to antisocial behaviour a few years ago and the street lighting helps deter this - when it is switched on.
