Faulds Gardens street sign unreadable, needing cleaned

Reported via desktop in the Street nameplates category anonymously at 15:46, Tue 2 November 2021

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3100291.

I reported this sign post in March 2021 as it was covered in moss & it is un readable. It has obviously got worse & as I previously said delivery drivers & people looking for this street without the aid of a sat nav have difficulty. I would clean it myself , but it's too high & dont want to get accused of touching council property.

  • A year later & street sign still not fixed & unreadable, also payment beside lampost where the street sign is attached is dangerous because it is covered in moss, & it is very slippy and the residents now have to walk on the road.

  • Still not fixed, plus moss on pavement where street sign is , is unwalkable do to the pavement being covered in moss. Am I wasting my time continuing to report this ?

  • Part of problem has been fixed. The pavement which is also covered in moss was power hosed on Sunday morning,so pavement is now clear & safe to walk on , however the street sign which is on the lampost on the same part of the pavement that was power hosed, was no touched. Surely it would have been more cost effective to do both jobs at the same time ??
