Sunken cast iron drain on roundabout

Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 10:50, Tue 2 November 2021

Sent to Hertfordshire County Council less than a minute later

On the roundabout at the junction of Great Ashby way and Cleveland Way, Great Ashby, Stevenage, one of the cast iron drains has sunk by a couple of inches. This is probably due to the daily, and sometimes twice daily articulated lorry that delivers to the rear of the Budgens local shop 100 yards west of the roundabout. One of the large perimeter granite stones is also breaking up. You can hear the movement of the cast iron parts every time a vehicle uses the roundabout as it's on the logical path of any vehicle. needs urgent attention before it collapses completely.
