24 inch pothole on the corner of Crondall Road

Reported via desktop in the Potholes category anonymously at 20:12, Sun 31 October 2021

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3095619.

Huge pothole on the corner of Crondall Road as you turn in off the A287. When it's full of water you can't see how deep it is - it's dangerous and could break a wheel.

Updates

  • There is still a massive and dangerous pothole here

  • There are two massive pot holes in Crondall Road. It seems a shame that still nothing has been done. Please can you escalate the situation. Its appalling that it's so large

  • Pot hole still there, you need to swing out into the other lane to avoid it, very dangerous !

  • Pot hole and, I believe it is possibly a broken/sunken drain, is still there after several months. Signs have been replaced around it and a cone placed over it, but due to its location it is extremely dangerous and needs to be fixed not signposted. It is not visible to cars turning into Crondall Lane from the fast traffic coming off of A287 until they turn and then have to swerve round it or give way if there are cars at the junction on the other side of the carriageway waiting to turn right out onto the A287. Cars also turning right into the junction from the A287 also not able to clear the junction safely if there are cars waiting there to turn out onto the A287.
