Junction lines need repainting

The A1122 Downham Market roundabout 'junction' white lines need repainting. My photo shows someone oblivious to the fact that I had right of way from their right. The junction white lines are not visible and need repainting

  • Not fixed. Submitted this to FixMyStreet on the 28th October of 2021. received email notification from Norfolk County Council that this issue has been inspected and that the problem needs resolving from NCC on the 22/02/2022. WHITE LINES need to be marked quickly before an accident occurs. URGENT indeed - PLEASE

  • Oh, only a year ago? NO these white lines have not been repainted and is a hazard as many travelling from the top of town from the A1122 find it hard to comprehend that traffic from the right on this roundabout, that those travelling from the town centre they have right of way. Junction lines need to be repainted to remind some drivers of this. Had to stop someone from nearly banging into me because they were oblivious of the Highway Code.

  • No the junction lines have not been painted. Some travelling on the A1122 think they have priority over traffic approaching from the right as experienced by myself.

  • Still a dangerous roundabout where those travelling on the A1122 think they have priority from those approaching or already on the roundabout from their right. Dangerous for those travelling from Downham town centre or rail station. Video evidence available if required.

  • CLOSE THE BLOODY JOB. Nothing will be done at this location until someone dies as a result of someone driving on the A1122 thinking they have priority over those arriving from the right, from the Town.
