Dog fouling corner of Windmill Road and Bateman Street
Reported via desktop in the Dog fouling category anonymously at 12:28, Tue 26 October 2021
Sent to Oxford City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3084768.
Example of increase of dog fouling in the area. May be linked to the installation of a recycling only bin- corner of Norton Close and Bateman Street. This new bin replaced a street litter bin. There is a need for a street litter bin with a lid to prevent flytipping.

The waste was cleared quickly thank you, however the request for a rethink on the bin at the corner of Norton CloseBateman Street, has not been resolved. The community believe that the lack of a street bin (earlier replaced by a recycling one), which will take dog waste too has exacerbated street litter and dog fouling is this area. I believe the street scene team have this in hand to address.

No replacement bin as yet. Street cleaning has been done by a neighbour. Recent incidents of dog fouling evidence alongside the wall of the Conservative Club.
The lack of an appropriate bin is exacerbating the littering, fly tipping and dog fouling incidents.
I have spoke to Cllr Mike Rowley who has urged the replacement to be completed,
