Apparent flyposting and free newspaper dispenser on pedestrian guard railings

Reported via desktop in the Graffiti and Flyposting category anonymously at 23:13, Sunday 24 October 2021

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

At the Shortlands Road junction with Bromley Rd (near Shortlands Railway station) there are the following affixed to the pedestrian island guard railings: - 2 or more polycarbonate advertisements for 'Boney M etc' concerts - a 'cash for used cars' laminated advertisement - a City AM perspex free newspaper dispenser If these do not have (1) the Council's permission as Highways street furniture owner, and also (2) advertisement consent planning permission please would you, in the interest of reducing street scene visual clutter, kindly remove this apparent flyposting and location of a dispensing device, and take any appropriate enforcement action? These are also in the Shortlands Village Conservation Area where development is required to 'conserve or enhance' the appearance of the CA. Thank you.
