E-scooter rack is hazard to visually impaired

Reported via desktop in the Benches / bicycle racks category anonymously at 17:11, Sun 24 October 2021 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxford City Council less than a minute later

You have recently installed two e-scooter racks: one at the W end of Magdalen Bridge, one in Holywell St near Mansfield Rd, which are serious trip hazards to the visually impaired such as myself. The scooters are at ankle height and very hard to see in the dark. Both take up a good proportion of quite narrow and busy pavements and the problem is made worse when they are overfull or scooters are badly parked. You could move the Magdalen Brisgae one closer to the river (by the bencxh) and the Holywell St one to Mansfield Rd by Jowett Walk. Please also notify your disability service of this complaint. Thanks!
