Blocked off the road for no reason
Reported via mobile in the Road, Pavement and PROW Issues category anonymously at 17:04, Fri 22 October 2021
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3078913.
You have blocked saltbox Hill for no reason and are causing traffic carnage through biggin Hill now. All I can see is that a lorrt has gone into a house but it's not effecting the road whatsoever. They is no work going on either. Maybe someone should come down and see what is happening with the traffic through biggin Hill because of this. Saltbox Hill is a main through road which needs to be open.

Thank you for your enquiry.
Salt Box Hill was re-opened to traffic yesterday (Wednesday 27/10/2021).
The road was originally closed in one direction as a safety zone was required around the road accident area.
Some motorists were ignoring the no entry signs from Main Road, therefore the road had to be fully closed to traffic in both directions as a safety precaution to road users.
