Burst water mains

Sent to Durham County Council and Wear Valley District Council 2 minutes later

Burst water mains on right hand side going into bridge. Been like this for at least 6 weeks

  • Contacted by council and they informed me the leak was inside the bridge supports.
    In order to fix this trains need to be stopped and a bus service set in its place.
    The road will have to be closed and engineering will take some time.
    this is something that cannot be set up overnight but Northumbria water are aware of the problem and trying to coordinate the repair.
