Overgrown and broken up lumpy footpath.

Reported via desktop in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 14:28, Wed 13 October 2021

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3060232.

The footpath has been overlooked for over 2 yrs now since my first report to you. I am a mobility scooter user and need to get from my house in Hartley Wespall to my village shop in Sherfield. I have found I am unable to use the footpath between Floods Farm and the Hartley turning due to the badly uneven surface where the weeds and grass have broken through. My back can't take it. Using the A33 at that section would be suicidal. The situation is now desperate both for myself and other scooterists and push chair/ pram pushers.

Updates

  • I am sorry for the delay in returning this up-date but I have been in hospital. I have just been out to check the footpath and it has not been touched. I was unable to use it. Almost 3 years now.....disgusting! It's just not fair on the people of Spanish Green, Hartley Wespall or Turgis Green.
