Vibrations from HGVs felt 300m away
Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 19:43, Tue 12 October 2021
Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3058342.
The vibrations as well as the noise we are experiencing from Weston Hall Road is unbearable. I can feel it in all rooms in our house over 300m away from the road as well as across all our property. It wakes me up very early in the morning, inside I can hear the lorries over the top of music at a reasonable volume and it is very stressful. Can this road please be resurfaced as a matter of priority as I believe this has been due to happen for a long while now and was due in march 2021 but didn't happen. It is very hard to escape when you live and work here. The issue has been getting worse over the last few years since the NDR was opened in 2018 and the number of HGVs and other vehicles increased dramatically putting too much strain on this road that is surrounded by springs and so constantly becoming potholed.

Resurfacing of roads is a Norfolk County Council issue. They are notorious for NOT repairing the roads. The persons to contact are- Proctor, Andrew - Leader of the Council <andrew.proctor.cllr@norfolk.gov.uk> McCabe, Tom <tom.mccabe@norfolk.gov.uk>
