The edge/corner of a rectangular manhole cover exposed

Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3057307.

Driving over this in a car causes a massive jolt through the steering and on the suspension. I consider it to be very dangerous for cyclist and motorcyclists. There is NO WARNING of this hazard.

  • It is still there and it causes cars to swerve especially if they use the road regularly. It is also in my opinion damaging suspension and tyres.

  • I am still waiting to see if the highway dept deem it a problem and if it is to be fixed!!!
