Line of Sight Obstructed by Tree Overhanging Slip Road

Reported via desktop in the Trees category by waclaw akielan at 13:21, Sun 10 October 2021 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The northbound slip road joining the A4142 Eastern By-Pass from the Cowley Retail Park roundabout is obscured by a overhanging big bush/tree. When driving the line of sight is seriously obscured by the overgrown tree and forces motorists to veer into the slow lane of the by-pass road to avoid hitting the tree. If traffic is heavy on the by-pass merging with traffic is impossible and you have to use the full length of the slip road to join the by-pass. This is impossible with the overhanging tree obstructing the slip road. This is dangerous. The tree needs to be heavily pruned or removed to prevent accidents.
