5 or 6 potholes on east side of Stone Street

Reported via desktop in the Potholes category anonymously at 17:07, Sat 9 October 2021

Sent to Kent County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3051386.

I have reported this problem about 3 times already and nothing has been done. The road is falling away to the east and there are also large potholes. If you have a large vehicle approaching you from the south, as the road is quite narrow at this point, you are forced onto the edge of the road to avoid them. This is extremely dangerous as there is no road in parts, but only muddy puddles and potholes. Please please can you attend to this urgently.

Updates

  • I have now reported this problem 5 times and have spoken to Kieran in Highways who promised to phone me back last Monday when he had spoken to the landowners - I'm still waiting this remains dangerous, especially now the weather is getting wetter and darker in the evenings!!

  • This is disgraceful and very dangerous, especially bearing in mind the amount of large vehicles we get along this road which forces you to drive into the edge of the road to avoid them
