Deep Potholes/Trench & Exposed Electric Cable.
Reported via desktop in the Potholes category anonymously at 11:52, Fri 8 October 2021
Sent to Argyll and Bute Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3049919.
As a result of flash flooding and persistent rainfall, gravel has been swept down Polvinister Road (Hill) from track leading to Scottish Water water tank. Gravel has also been swept from side of road causing it to uncover exposed electric cable and water pipe. This issue has been ongoing for a number of years. Gravel on track and side of road needs to be replaced with a more permanent solution. This latest issue happened on the night of 2/3 October 2021 and as a result blocked Glencruiten Road and had to be cleared by a contractor. This urgently needs repaired as there is a very deep trench (with exposed electric cable) on the side of road (see attached photo’s)

High Voltage Signs have been installed near exposed cable. Vehicle has gone into trench recently and disturbed cable. Potential of a very dangerous situation if not dealt with immediately.
