Traffic lights (not in use left) on 40 mph stretch of road - hazard particularly at night
Reported via desktop anonymously at 17:17, Tue 5 October 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and Vale of White Horse District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3044118.
5/10/21 A section of Twelve Acre Drive was portioned off and traffic across a three way junction controlled by traffic lights. 4.30 pm noticed traffic lights, no longer in use were left on the edge of the road. This is a busy 40 mph road, and where they are left is not particularly well lit. It is best if the lights (on both sides of the road are moved onto the pavement at the end of the day) so there is no accident caused by driver going into them or seeing them at the last moment, and swerving to avoid them. Moving them might only take a minutes at the end of the day and could save lives.
