Uneven paving stones
Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 11:18, Thu 3 January 2013
Sent to Essex County Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 304076.
Paving stones in this area are a hazard to pedestrians, many of them elderly. My husband, over 80 years old, had a heavy fall two days ago but luckily did not break any bones.

Only tried via Fixmystreet; no results and public tell me that it is years since any repairs to the pavements took place.

Nothing further to report. Everyone agrees that these pavements are hazardous, a real trap.

Problem not fixed by 1st March. A paving slab on the pavement outside my property is 1.90mm. proud of the surface. Its not surprising that people fall over. One lady, aged 84 years, has had four falls and has bought a fourwheeled shopping trolley to hang onto.
