24 out 37 lights broken on Windrush Square

Reported via desktop in the Street lighting category anonymously at 19:48, Sun 3 October 2021

Sent to Lambeth Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3039627.

For many months/years now, there have been broken lights on Windrush Square. They are never repaired, and as time goes on, more bulbs fail. At the moment, of the 37 bulbs installed on the tall lighting poles and mid-height reflectors, 24 are not functioning. That's right: two-thirds of the lighting isn't working. It's rather striking that, at the moment, with all the risks facing women at night, Lambeth Council is so negligent about public safety. Do you want to check ? Then just look out of the windows of the Town Hall, which lies across the road. This message is being copied to local Councillors, MP, MP, local blogs Brixton Buzz and Brixton Blog, and local social media Urban &5 and Nextdoor.
