On going rubbish concerns, lack of collection

Reported via desktop in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 15:58, Mon 27 September 2021

Sent to Lewisham Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3028042.

This rubbish has continually been missed and is over spilling from 10 Verdant Lane, it appears that others are also leaving rubbish and recycling from the property also and it is both an eyesore and danger to pedestrians

  • This has been passed to waste services to investigate,

The property has twos 240 recycling bins and 1x189 refuse bin which should be enough space. It could be residents are not using their bins correctly

  • Hi it appears that the collections are not collecting the rubbish from the bins as reported by the neighbours . the capacity of the bins clearly aren't sufficient and I live in another part of the borough where larger black bins are provided to occupants of flats. This a health and safety issue and therefore larger bins are required at this property.

  • I Have raised an order for 1x 180 litre refuse bin to be delivered asap. This is the standard size bin all properties now receive

The extra bin should resolve the problem and also reduce the risk of contamination on the green bins
