Inadequate '20 mph' sign.'

Sent to South Gloucestershire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3027877.

On Brierley Furlong, towards the Parkway railway bridge. The new '20 mph' sign is placed up against the hedgerow and obscured by overhanging trees/bushes. Apart from the fact that this '20 mph' sign is too small why not also paint '20' on the road surface as a visual reminder to road users?

  • At least the overhanging branches have been pruned back. All that is left to do is t paint the roundel with “30” on the road surface.
