This is the stretch of Leaves Green Roaf where the road narrows. Thete is no on street parking and minimal or narrow pavement on both sides. It starts around 60 Leaves Green Road, and continues past Blackness Lane up to the point where standard pavements are available on both sides of the road - it’s around 200-300m. Mother’s with children or people waiting for buses (stops on both sides) are either stood in and around foliage or in the road. This is especially difficult in wet or dark weather. It’s poorly lit and the footpath even if clear is uneven and damaged - it is not acceptable. In some areas there insufficient space for a pushchair or to walk a child side by side on either side of the road. There is also little provision for crossing the road which is necessary to use the pavement that does exist here. This is a repeat issue which is worsened when the foliage grows or by time of year or day. It needs a proper resolution you only need to look at all the “completed” issues on the same stretch of road all of which are symptoms of the same problems.
