Loose rubbish dumped on York Street by the communal bins

See photo. This is a typical (almost daily) occurrence. Loose litter is carelessly dropped around the communal bins including paper, food containers, drink cans, cardboard boxes, even broken bits of furniture. This undoubtedly leads to increased virmin. It seems people using the bins cannot be bothered to ensure it all goes in the bins. There is no excuse for this. On windy days the rubbish gets dispersed along the street and surrounding streets. It looks disgusting. It is mainly due to the large number of short term tenancies in the area; people with no sense of communal pride.
