No pedestrian crossing

Sent to Leicestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3018650.

Crossing the road at the T junction traffic lights is extremely hard for a pedestrian as there is no provision for pedestrians to cross when the lights change. This is a main road used by school children as well as people trying to get to the nearby shops. Can the traffic lights be upgraded to incorporate a toucan / pelican / puffin type of crossing.

Theres traffic lights. Never had a problem crossing road there.
