Many thanks for bringing this to our attention, do you have any evidence that the removal of this fence was carried out by LBB contractors? Many thanks and kind regards, JPR - 28/09/2021

The contractors were seen to attempt to remove other panels by unbolting, but finally had to grind off the removed panel. Pictures were taken by by a neighbour at the time. I will forward them as soon as possible.
Please note the fence is still leaning dangerously, unsecured and has fallen over art least twice. This could be fatal for a child!

This has only just been made safe and is not a permanent fix. The adjacent fence bracket has been removed to replace the one ground off. This needs a permanent fix to its original condition. Please leave this report open until corrective works have been undertaken.

Many thanks for your additional comments, I'm happy with the repair and after seeing the fence myself this morning, there is no evidence that the contractor has cut off or removed brackets, the contractor only cut the wire which was already in situ to remove the fence panel. The photo on the left above wasn't part of the removed fence panel and the fence does not join the post. The other close up photo is of the bottom right side of the removed fence panel but the contractor told me that there was no bracket on this post. The contractor admitted to cutting the wire which was holding up the fence panel in the top left hand corner as you face towards the footpath and they have made sound repairs of this fence. I'm happy that this fence panel is in a safe secure condition and this matter is now closed. Many thanks and kind regards, JPR - 30/09/2021

This picture was taken the day the panel was cut. You can see that the bracket was freshly cut off with an angle grinder. The contractor has replaced this with a bracket from the adjacent panel and that is why it is missing. This is a heavy metal fence and jubilee type clips with a bolt are not a sufficient repair or return to its original condition or strength. It clearly needs new brackets and or welding to make a safe and long lasting repair.
I struggle to see how anyone can view this as a safe long term repair, especially as it is due to a Bromley Council contractor.
One would hope that Bromley Council would take a very dim view of contractors behaving like this, hold them to account and make them restore the damage to its original condition.
