Quad bikes

I have reported the issue of unlicensed, speeding quad bikes along the Kelvin Walkway and canal tow paths many times over the past 2 years, but as it is almost impossible for the police to catch such offenders, the only solution is to restrict access to council and canal vehicles by means of locked barriers. Last year apparently 2 pedestrians were killed by such vehicles and as children, cyclists, parents with prams and pedestrians use these paths frequently, action must be taken to avoid further injuries and possible deaths.
