Cigarette ends again
Reported via desktop in the Street cleaning category anonymously at 20:25, Sat 18 September 2021
Sent to West Suffolk Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3010337.
Once again the area around 57 -69 Wingfield Road is strewn with cigarette ends. There are a couple of people and one regular visitor who think its correct to throw cigarette ends all over the road. One in particular empties his car ashtray onto the road. We need a permanent anti litter sign and a regular visit from the road sweeper by which I mean a proper sweep not just a quick drive round the cul-de-sac.

Road sweeper has been round again, people continue to chuck their buts all over the shop but if the sweeper is a regular visitor the problem is sort of resolved.

Certain people continue to drop fag ends all over the shop. Their ignorance is breath-taking.

The main culprit appears to have stopped visiting the area and there is a noticeable reduction in the amount of cigarette ends being thrown onto the ground. So resolved for now.
