Dear Sir / Madam, 4-10 Alma Place SE192TB please see the below from the developer, followed by the reply from Thames Water. Developer: There is a drain in the Alma Place Road that keeps getting blocked when there is heavy rainfall and needs to be cleaned out by Thames Water and it is causing some problems for the leaseholders. Is this something you can take care of? The drain’s location is outside number 3 Alma Place, please see the red circle attached.

Please note this drain crosses a number of properties and titles so it is Thames Water’s liability. Response from Thames Water: Thanks Jeremy, to answer your question earlier this is called hydraulic overload this where heavy rainfall overwhelms our sewer, usually part of the cause is the roadside gullies and storm
