Cycle path and side of road need litter picking

Reported via iOS in the Street cleaning category anonymously at 18:30, Friday 17 September 2021

Sent to Oxford City Council less than a minute later

The whole Marston ferry road cycle path has litter along it, as does the side of the road. It’s really bad in some places and doesn’t seem to get cleaned. The grass was just cut around the area and rather than cleaning it up, they just cut through bottles, packaging wrappers, etc. Please have litter pickers come clean both sides of the entire cycle path and both sides of the road.

Updates

  • The cycle track and grass are scheduled to be litter picked from Banbury road to the Swann school on Wednesdays, and from the school to Cherwell drive every second Sunday, the grass is cut by the County Council, who on this occasion did not inform us of their schedule, meaning we were unable to litter pick the area prior to the cutting.
