Damaged edging stone in new roundabout

One of the sunken edging stones in the new roundabout is broken and protecting above the surface in the middle of the road.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. We can confirm that this has been picked up as snagging for the scheme and will be repaired by the contractor at their own costs. Snagging works for the project are expected to be completed within the next two months, we will continue to monitor the kerbs and make emergency repairs if required.

  • Snagging !! - the kirb stones are lifting - at least with this system when a car/lorry/bus is damaged there is a record. Over six months to build/rebuild/rebuild - no cost I would be taking to court for costs/refund. Who is in charge of traffic management (an old term) ?.
