Extremely big tree at the side of the dual carriageway

Throughout the tree it appears to have a lot of dead branches and the top of the tree seems to be dead too Today I cut a couple of branches off the tree because they was obstructing the path to find there was extremely brittle which is unusual they’re normally very strong Should this tree fall over in high winds in my opinion it could quite easily be fatal it would reach both sides of the carriageways There wasn’t much water in the branches neither it seemed very brittle
