"Stables" in green belt being used as depot for tarmac business

Reported via desktop anonymously at 09:35, Friday 17 September 2021

Sent to Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council less than a minute later

The owner of the "stables" to the rear of Marston Lane Bedworth, has started storing commercial sized gas cylinders in a pre-fab style "barn" literally behind a residential area.

Also this entire site is designated as green belt land (as recently asserted in another planning application.

So not only is there now an imminent fire / explosion hazard due to storing commercial sized gas bottles, but he is running an industrial/commercial concern on what has been designated green belt land, and in no way reflects what the planning application was approved on.

These bottles are being stored within 20ft of a tipper style ford van and under the pre-fab "barn"

At what point will the council actually do their job? Do they wait for the next Grenfell Towers?

Updates

  • Environmental are ACTIVELY supporting green belt land being used as a commercial UNLICENSED landfill! Imagine if an actual resident tried this! This is being allowed, at the same time council "employees" get full pay, yet aren't asked to do any work" Time to reign in the corrupt council. You don't do your job, you don't get paid. Scandalous council non action
