Overgrown trees/shrubs blocking footpaths

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3006765.

Two connecting footpaths in Thornfield Green and Champion drive very overgrown almost impassible. Part of Vicarage Road is very overgrown with shrubs ,you have to step into the road to continue, it's dangerous, in this area of Blackwater/Hawley is very shabby.This problem has been going on for almost a year, several phonecalls to the council, nothing gets done.

  • The public footpath between Campion close leading to Medlar drive is very overgrown, and needs attention. The footpath on Thornfield green connecting to the the back of the Thornfield Green flats , has very overgrown shrubs and trees , its used all the time for getting out to the Hawley Road. All around this area the footpaths need attention.

  • There are still areas of paths that need cutting back , from Thornfield green onto the Hawley Road has still got a lot of overgrown bushes that are taking up the pathways, also the path that leads from Thornfield Green that cuts through to the Hawley Road is still very bad.

  • There are still overgrown shrubs and ivy growing over foot paths near the water station in Thornfield green, and also on the opposite side of the road, overgrown bushes they are growing over the main water drain, when there is a problem the Thames water have to clear away the bushes to get to the drain, Thornfield Green footpaths are very neglected.

  • This problem has not been fixed, the foot paths in Thornfield Green Blackwater Gu179EY are getting really impassable, we have a elderly man on our street that has a problem getting by with his walking frame, i as a dog walker has to step out on the road , not acceptable, this has been reported for over a year now.
