Road signs obscured by trees/bushes
Reported via mobile in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 19:31, Wed 15 September 2021
Sent to Leicestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3004052.
Throughout the Borough several primary through roads have speed limit, direction and warning signs obscured by dense trees or bushes preventing motorists from seeing abs applying the guidance the signs are meant to present, notably speed limits. While leaves may fall in coming weeks, the branches themselves are still too dense or of evergreen varieties to still prevent clear sight of the signage. Photos attached are of Woodhouse Road in Quorn where motorists persist in exceeding the limit dramatically. The same is also true of Terry Yardlley Way (A6004) and main A6 Loughborough Road and others across the other side of the town. Loughborough attracts many motorists such as students and others who pass through abs are not familiar with the town as others are and need the clear signage to guide them.
