Speed bumps not fit for purpose

Sent to East Hampshire District Council and Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3003725.

The speed bumps on Hylton rd do not slow all traffic as they were designed to do. Many cars drive at a dangerous speed along this rd. I have witnessed a few near misses and parked cars are regularly scraped along this stretch of Hylton rd.

  • You're after a change here which would likely have to go through multiple council layers. It's unlikely you're going to ever be successful without media attention or multiple people supporting you.

    Your email should have gone to both councils. Let me guess - you've heard absolutely nothing? Or am I wrong?
