Pavement completely taken up by fencing

Reported via desktop in the Pavements category by S Ratz at 11:58, Monday 13 September 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

All of the pavement from west way the entrance of the shops as been monopolised by builders' fencing. I have frequently found people walking in the road as without taking a large detour, there is nowhere for them to go. I would recommend the fencing be moved back towards the hoarding so pedestrians can make use of the footpath, grass and seating.

  • Expensive cycling infrastructure being installed (at glacial pace) by people who haven't a clue. What's the cyclist supposed to do here? Follow the cycle lane (and ride into a metal pole)? Join the bus lane (bumping down the kerb)? Dismount to walk under the bridge (and then get on again on the other side)?
