Unnecessary temporay traffic lights

Thames Water are operating temporary traffic lights but are not working on the road and should be removed as they are causing unnecessary delays. They are set-up purely to protect a workforce that are nowhere near the road, in fact they are in the adjacent field many yards away. They did the same thing last weeks outside Streatley Farm on the same section of road. The repairs they were carrying out were in the side road and the traffic lights were not needed to protect the workforce. Please stop this pointless use of traffic lights.

Thames Water have appeared again to fix the substantial leak that I reported to them last week and have erected temporary traffic lights again. These are not necessary as the work force is nowhere near the road as reported before when they failed to fix the leak last time. Can the council please instruct them to remove the lights causing unnecessary delays.
