Hedge over-hanging road to cul-de-sac

Reported via desktop in the Hedges / trees on rights of way category by Steve Webb at 12:45, Thursday 9 September 2021

Sent to Warwickshire County Council less than a minute later

The hedges, shrubbery, brambles and holly bushes are over-hanging the entrance road to Walnut Close CV10 0JB (off Tuttle Hill), as there as cars frequently parked on the road entering the cul-de-sac, anyone leaving and joining Tuttle Hill Road has to drive up against the over-hang, subsequently and potentially having scratches and other branch related damage to the vehicles, this has been like it for a while and only a matter of time before someone claims the council are neglecting this issue, and claims recompense for damage to vehicle paintwork (nowhere else the driver can put their vehicle)

  • This was reported to WCC, they stated it was a NBBC issue and they would instruct NBBC, as of today and 1 MONTH on from initial report nothing has been done. the overhang is obviously getting worse daily and access in and out of walnut close is getting ridiculous. as stated previously only a matter of time that vehicles will get scratched or damaged..... obviously Riversley park and such like look wonderful, but general work is being ignored, council are picking and choosing what work gets them a pat on the back!

  • Its now 5th november and now almost 2 months and overhang has still not been addressed or dealt with. all i can say is the parks surrounding riversley and some of the nicer estates are kept on a regular basis, but when you get a complaint regarding CV10, then the council are utterly useless. i bet if i missed a council tax payment they're on the ball!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
