Sent to Birmingham City Council less than a minute later
Someone has replaced the smooth asphalt path that was here with 2" deep of loose sharp chippings. This path is part of the North Birmingham Cycle Route and is now very hard going for cyclists, completely impassable on scooters, skates or rollerblades, a hefty cardio workout for wheelchairs & pushchairs and genuinely injurious to dogs, for whom it is like walking on broken glass. Can we please go back to a normal path surface as soon as possible, because this stone chippings surface is dangerous to small children and denies many of us access and enjoyment of an otherwise pleasant park area. Can I ask that no further projects be undertaken with this material?
