Overflowing bins/flytipping

Reported via desktop in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category by Mark Adams at 12:22, Sun 5 September 2021

Sent to Runnymede Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2980026.

My understanding is that these bins belong to the flats at the Literary Institute. Leaving them on the public highway has led to dumped rubbish/flytipping. Can we arrange for the rubbish to be removed and the bins moved back into the courtyard at the Lit. Maybe lockable bins would prevent people taking advantage of bins provided for residents. We have a market coming to town on 9 October, this eyesore would not show the town in a good light to our visitors. Your immediate attention would be appreciated.

Updates

  • The rubbish was cleared and the bins returned to the courtyard alongside Egham Lit. The bins and rubbish have now returned, looks absolutely terrible. This needs to be sorted please.
