Road in desperate need of repair
Reported via iOS in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 20:29, Sat 4 September 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2979258.
Please please please can you come and look at the state of Denbigh Close road surface, it is absolutely appalling, the tarmac is down to the base layer and it’s leaving large stones on all pavements which in its self is an accident waiting to happen as there are a few elderly residents in the street. I have contacted Cllr Kieron Mallon and he has said he will send an engineer to look at the road but we’ve not seen anyone as yet. I am willing to meet any representative from the council as this is a major concern to all the local residents. If nothing is done I will be contacting the Banbury Guardian as I have reported this for many many years and nothing has ever been done. My neighbour reported this after falling on some of the large stones and hurting her knees. You’ve said many times that this is due for resurfacing but we never get any feedback.
Please communicate with me!
Thanks
Steve
