Road blocked by parked cars

Tonight on Westdale avenue on Glen Parva. This is not a first time when multiple cars obstructed pavements, a lot of vans parked along the road blocking access and make difficult manoeuvring from driveways or even walking on the footpaths. Tonight There is no go through the road because of the parked cars. This is major health and safety issue as in a case of emergency any services as ambulance or fire brigade wouldn’t be able to access.

  • I recieved answer from City Council saying they cannot do anything about this matter. My understanding is city council will come to you when your dog is barking too loud, but when there is public health&safety hazard, they are not intrested. Sad.
