Public path unsigned, invisible (South Wootton FP 1) - 2
Reported via desktop in the Footpaths/ Rights of way (usually not tarmac) category anonymously at 16:02, Saturday 28 August 2021
Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later
The path is not visible on the ground. At the location marked with the pin, the path undergoes a change in direction/crosses a boundary, but there is absolutely nothing on the ground to indicate where the path goes, or that it even exists. There is a clear need, here, for signage to assist persons unfamiliar with the locality to follow the course of the path. Section 27(4) of the Countryside Act 1968 places a duty upon the Norfolk County Council to provide signage, in a situation like this.
