Missing traffic cones on roadworks

Sent to Leicestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2963706.

There is a significant stretch of road along this section of roadworks where it looks like the road goes from one lane to two lanes. The ‘second’ lane actually ends up being the oncoming traffic with no warning or signage to say no overtaking. There should be cones continuously to separate the oncoming traffic.
