No street lighting on lower part of Bath street

Reported via mobile in the Street lighting category anonymously at 20:31, Saturday 14 August 2021

Sent to Inverclyde Council less than a minute later

Council remover lamp post in Bath street between kempcok gardens and Adalaide street. We are now left in complete darkness. When can we get our street lighting back?

Updates

  • No lighting in our half of the street. It is becoming a magnet for gangs of kids as it is dark and no, NO cctv coverage to help prevent anti social behaviour by kids or the drunks who use the area as a toilet and a gathering place; last night they were there at 2.30 am. Reported before but told that is what to expect as we live close to pubs!!!! Maybe if police and council work together then people in this area will sleep easier at night.

  • Council informed of problem but as usual no action as yet. Maybe more direct action may bring it to their notice!!!
