Motion camera not facing cars / blocked view

Sent to Milton Keynes Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2935585.

There is a motion camera installed over the traffic lights placed on the bridge in Marsh Drive (overlooking the Grand Canal and just turning right leaving Campion) but it is not working properly. It looks like the wind has moved it and also there are branches/leaves blocking the cameras view. This leads to queueing up for several minutes and at peak times there are easily 6 - 7 cars in the queue.

Updates

  • Update - someone from the Council referred me to the Police. I’m not going to bother the Police with it, this is a maintenance issue for the Council. It happened last year too so… a waiting game.
