Dangerous road surfaced

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 17:26, Thu 22 November 2012 ; (there is no pin shown as the user did not use the map)

Sent to Cardiff Council 4 minutes later

The road surface on penarth road as you approach the junction with sloper road is extremely dangerous to cyclists. Where the road meets the gutter there is a ridge which causes cyclists to lose balance. This not a small ridge and runs for some distance as you approach the junction. I have seen a cyclists fall off here beofre now and I suggest this is potentially fatal should a cyclist lose balance and fall into the path of a moving vehicle
