Rendering on retaining wall falling down

Reported via desktop in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 12:25, Fri 6 August 2021

Sent to Torbay Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2918608.

The pebble-dash rendering along the whole street is crumbling and falling onto the pavement. This is worsened during heavy rain as the water tends to build up behind a crack and push it away from the brickwork. The danger being that some of the large chunks that have fallen are approx 2 ft long and heavy, which is alarming due to young kids playing in the street. I would estimate that the whole wall is the length of the street, approximately 200 metres long. At its lowest point it is approximately 5 ft tall, and at its highest approximately 10 ft tall. This also increases the danger slightly, as those larges pieces discussed above sometimes fall from the tallest aspect.
