Parking

Reported in the Car parking category by Rebecca Ronald at 19:36, Sun 18 November 2012

Sent to Manchester City Council 4 minutes later

People parking outside our house (with a bollard by our gate) causing pedestrians, pushchairs, wheelchairs etc to go into the road to move along what would be a public footpath. My children and I had a vehicle try to reverse into us in order to move from her space on the pavement to get onto the road. At this moment, I cannot get out of my front gate. This is now a concern for the police unless somethting is done about it.

Updates

  • Another fine example of inconsideration.

  • You ought to know that the council will take absolutely no action on this. Contacting your councillor may help, if you keep nagging them. You could try getting your neighbours to nag them too, but they're probably part of the problem...

  • Again... this goes on up to the Beech Pub. It's a daily problem with school children.
