Tree branches fouling phone line

Reported via desktop in the Trees category anonymously at 16:38, Wednesday 4 August 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

I had occasion a few months back to get Outreach out to solve a phone line issue which they did but were not able to help with the whole problem. Opposite us at the low end of Sibford Road are the cherry trees and the one opposite High Rock is causing an issue with my phone line. One branch in particular is caught up in the phone line and in high winds is in the end going to bring the line down. Openreach are not able to do anything about the problem until the line is actually brought down so the resolution lies with yourselves. A while back all the other cherry trees were trimmed back but this tree at the end was left for some reason. Openreach have already had to refix the line to my house wall as it had been partially dragged off in high winds. This will get worse as we enter winter and as the branch gets bigger.
